THE HISTORIC SAPPINGTON HOUSES

KEEP US MOVING
“Every donation moves our mission forward.”
The Sappington House Foundation exists to protect, preserve, and share the stories of our two historic homes; the 1808 Thomas Sappington House and the 1816 Joseph Sappington Log House.
Our mission is simple and heartfelt: "To preserve the past by inspiring generations to discover and appreciate their own and the community’s heritage."
Today, that mission is alive in our biggest undertaking: Bringing Joe Home. The Joseph Sappington Log House, lovingly called “Joe”, is being restored log‑by‑log so it can permanently reside in Sappington Park as a living piece of Missouri history.
Your contribution helps us:
-
Restore Joe with historical accuracy
-
Protect two centuries of craftsmanship
-
Create educational experiences for families and students
-
Keep Sappington Park a place of learning, beauty, and community
Whether through Membership or a Donation, you become part of the story we are preserving for future generations.
